Febuary 21, 2020. CBMS is hosting a “Meet the Author” event on Friday Feb 21. We are looking for authors and/or writers who would like to come set up a space at Friday Fest. CANCELLED DUE TO COVID
Inspirational Women in Literature Media & Journalism Awards
March 21, 2020. The objective of the conference will remain to recognize & award women who have motivated others in the art form to join their voice to the literary choir and hopefully inspire new writers to consider starting their journey in literature, media, & journalism.
World Book Night 2020:
World Book Night is a national celebration of reading and books that takes place on the 23rd of April every year. Events up and down the country run by individuals and organisations celebrate the difference that reading makes to people’s lives, and everyone from publishers to librarians, and local businesses to the general public can get involved. Book Obsessed Babes 2020:
Come join us April 24-26, 2020 for a weekend full of fun! There you will meet nearly 60 incredibly talented Authors of multiple genres. You will have the opportunity to visit with your favorites as well as meet new to you Authors. Authors for Authors – Meet the Author
April 26, 2020. Joanne Fisher was born in Toronto, Canada and now lives in Palm Bay, FL. She has published eight books including, “The Devil of St. Gabriel.” Joanne enjoys reading, writing, and travel. Joanne will be one of the speakers at the Writers’ Conference at the Hilton Rialto, Melbourne.
Scribblers of Brevard – Speaking Engagement Presentation on “Highway to Sell”
May 9, 2020. Scribblers of Brevard is a writers’ club based in Melbourne, Florida, a place where writers can go to read their works and gain encouragement, inspiration and advice from fellow writers. Space Coast Book Lovers Author Signing Event 2020:
4th Annual Event! Being held in beautiful Cape Canaveral, FL on Thursday, June 25th – Saturday, June 27th. We have some amazingly talented authors of all genres sure to provide you with several additions to your TBR list! Our goal is to bring you an intimate event designed to encourage one-on-one interaction with your favorite authors and to give you the opportunity to discover authors you have not read yet. Tampa Indie Author Book Convention:
The Tampa Indie Author Book Convention is excited to announce the 2020 T.I.A.B.C. convention will be located at the beautiful Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Airport Westshore, 5312 Avion Park Dr, Tampa, FL 33607 on July 11th, 2020. This will be a 1-day event, that means double the chances to meet your favorite authors and hang out with new-to-you books. The complete schedule will be posted in the near future. Space Coast Writers’ Guild Presents “Authors In a Box Book Bash 2019: December 7 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM at Melbourne Square Mall – located between the Santa Set and the Children’s Play Area. Come and meet your favorite local authors, take pictures, and buy their books! Children’s authors will be reading for their little fans!

Historic Cocoa Village Book Fest 2019: Historic Cocoa Village Main Street is hosting our 2nd Annual Book Fest in the Village. Sat. Nov. 2, 10am – 3pm Myrt Tharpe Square, Cocoa Village. Over 40 prominent published authors will be on hand to talk about their work & their books. Stroll through the Village and enjoy the unique shops, friendly atmosphere and great dining! As always, this is a kid and pet friendly event.
City of Palm Bay Fall Festival 2019: Join us at our Annual Fall Fest event on Saturday, October 26 at Fred Poppe Regional Park located at 1951 Malabar Rd NW in Palm Bay. This year’s Fall Fest is presented by Janitorial Depot of America, Inc.
Festivities will include trunk-or-treating, inflatables, games, food and other vendors, hayrides, a costume contest, and a movie in the park at sunset.
FIT Homecoming Fest: Bringin’ It Home celebrates the diversity of Florida Tech’s student & alumni body from around the world, as well as the spirit of gathering embodied by Homecoming celebrations. FIT has a richly diverse history with alumni from over eighty countries! The festivities planned during Homecoming Week provide many opportunities for students & alumni to gather in Melbourne to celebrate & show their #PantherPride!
Tea & Sweets – Legacy Book Club: Please join us for afternoon tea and sweets as we team up with members of the Cape Canaveral Branch of the National League of American Pen Women/Florida State Association, and author, Joanne Fisher as she introduces her romance and historical fiction to the group.
